heart-circle-plus-regular   Whats on Offer:

Description

Our client is an established non for profit, disability services provider supporting people with intellectual and psychosocial disability, as well as people experiencing barriers to housing, employment and community participation.

The organisation takes a person-centred approach focused on helping people realise their potential, achieve their goals and participate as valued members of the community. You will join a small Behaviour Support team within a broader disability support environment, with clinical leadership and multidisciplinary collaboration built into the role.

About the Role

This is an Advanced Behaviour Support Practitioner role with responsibility for providing clinical leadership, supervision and quality oversight across a small team of three other Behaviour Support Practitioners.

Your week will include:

  • Coordinating Positive Behaviour Support service delivery across the allocated team
  • Remote role with travel contained in a radius around your local area
  • Providing clinical guidance, supervision and practice support to Behaviour Support Practitioners
  • Reviewing and overseeing Functional Behaviour Assessments, Behaviour Support Plans and clinical documentation
  • Monitoring caseloads, capacity, workload allocation, restrictive practices and fade-out plans
  • Supporting the induction, onboarding and capability development of new practitioners
  • Coaching practitioners across assessment, intervention planning, report writing and stakeholder engagement
  • Maintaining relationships with clients, families, guardians, advocates, support coordinators and other stakeholders
  • Supporting a multidisciplinary approach across the broader disability support team
  • Escalating complex clinical issues, significant risks and service delivery concerns when required
  • The team is small and established, with three other BSPs, including one practitioner working two days per week. The role provides an opportunity to remain clinically engaged while contributing to team capability, quality and service delivery.
Why this Role

This role would suit an experienced BSP who wants to combine advanced clinical practice with genuine team leadership and clinical governance.

You will have the opportunity to:
  • Provide clinical leadership across a small BSP team
  • Supervise, coach and develop Behaviour Support Practitioners
  • Influence clinical quality, consistency and evidence-based practice
  • Support practitioner capability and professional development
  • Oversee complex behaviour support assessments, plans and documentation
  • Contribute to quality improvement, risk management and clinical governance
  • Work within a broader disability support environment
  • Maintain a strong focus on person-centred outcomes and client independence
About You
  • Registered with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission at Advanced or Specialist level as a Behaviour Support Practitioner
  • Demonstrated experience working with people with complex communication needs and challenging behaviours
  • Current unrestricted Australian driver's licence and vehicle
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check
  • Full Australian working rights
Salary & Benefits
  • $120,000 to $130,000 + super+ salary packaging benefits
  • Advanced-level clinical leadership opportunity
  • Small BSP team with broader disability support collaboration
  • Clinical supervision, coaching and capability development responsibilities
  • Opportunity to contribute to clinical governance, quality and service improvement
What’s on Offer

If you are looking for an Advanced Positive Behaviour Support role where you can influence clinical quality while developing a small team, this is worth a conversation.

You will have the opportunity to combine hands-on clinical expertise with supervision, governance and practitioner development within an established disability services environment.
