About the Role
As the Assistant Facility Manager, you'll be the trusted second-in-command for a large residential aged care home, supporting both the clinical and operational performance of the service.
You will:
- Partner closely with the Facility Manager to lead the home
- Drive high-quality clinical and resident care outcomes
- Support and mentor clinical leaders and care teams
- Oversee compliance, accreditation, and quality initiatives
- Foster a positive and high-performing workplace culture
- Step confidently into the 1IC position when required
We're looking for a leader who combines strong clinical expertise with proven operational capability.
You'll bring:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Experience as both a Care Manager and Facility Manager within Residential Aged Care
- A minimum of 3 years' leadership experience in aged care
- Strong knowledge of clinical governance, compliance, and quality systems
- Experience leading and developing multidisciplinary teams
- The confidence and capability to oversee a large residential aged care service
- Quality Management experience (highly desirable)
