Candidate Consultant
The Opportunity
Are you a confident communicator who enjoys building relationships and keeping things moving? E4 People is looking for a Candidate Consultant to play a key role in our resourcing operations, sourcing and engaging talent, managing our candidate pipeline, and ensuring the right people are placed at the right time.
This is a candidate-focused role at the centre of our temporary staffing team. You’ll lead structured outreach and re-engagement initiatives, support active sourcing, and work closely with Recruitment Consultants to maintain a strong, ready-to-go talent pool.
No prior recruitment experience is required. We’re looking for someone with excellent communication skills, strong organisation, and a genuine interest in people.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Candidate Re-engagement & Outreach: Lead structured outreach campaigns, making high-volume outbound calls and sending targeted communications to re-engage inactive candidates and bring quality talent back into the active pool.
- Screening & Qualification: Conduct phone screens, initial interviews, and reference checks to assess suitability. Verify compliance documentation and ensure all records meet regulatory requirements.
- Data & Pipeline Management: Work methodically through candidate datasets, maintaining accurate ATS/CRM records. Track outreach activity and use data insights to refine targeting and improve outcomes.
- Consultant Support & Handover: Provide Recruitment Consultants with qualified, ready-to-place candidates, supported by clear handover notes. Assist with shift bookings, rostering, and sourcing during peak periods.
- Candidate Experience & Service: Act as a key point of contact for candidates and clients. Deliver a high standard of service across all touchpoints, manage inbound enquiries, and represent the E4 brand with professionalism and warmth.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a phone-based, customer service, or customer-facing role
- Confident, professional phone manner with strong written communication
- Comfortable working with large datasets and CRM systems
- High attention to detail across multiple tasks
- Positive, resilient attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Openness to new technology, including AI-powered tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems
Working Rights: Must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or on a residency pathway. Sponsorship is not available for this role.
