Description
A well-established residential aged care provider in Sydney is seeking an experienced and clinically capable Care Director to join the team in a rewarding leadership opportunity. If you are an experienced Registered Nurse, confident people leader and passionate aged care professional, this role offers the chance to make a genuine impact while continuing to grow your leadership career.
About the Role
As the Care Director, you will be a key member of the home's leadership team and act as the second-in-command, drawing on your clinical expertise to improve every aspect of residents' wellbeing and experience.
You will lead, develop and oversee the clinical and care functions of the home, working closely with residents, families, nurses and care teams to ensure consistently high standards of care.
This role combines clinical leadership, people management, compliance, care planning and operational support, with a strong focus on resident outcomes and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strong clinical leadership across the home, ensuring residents receive safe, person-centred and high-quality care
- Lead, coach and develop nurses and care staff, supporting capability, performance and professional development
- Oversee clinical care programs and identify opportunities to strengthen resident outcomes and quality of care
- Monitor clinical compliance, reporting, documentation, stock and relevant operational requirements
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a nursing management role
- Previous experience within residential aged care
- Proven experience managing people, clinical compliance and clinical operations
- Up to $145,000 + Superannuation + Benefits
