Description
A well-established residential aged care provider in Canberra is seeking an experienced and people-focused Care Manager to join their leadership team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate, organised and clinically capable leader who enjoys mentoring teams, building positive relationships and delivering exceptional resident outcomes. You'll work alongside an experienced Facility Manager and two fellow Care Managers within a collaborative leadership structure.

About the Role
As one of three Care Managers, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality clinical care, support and mentor nursing staff, and ensure compliance with the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards.
This role combines clinical leadership, team development, quality improvement and resident-centred care within a supportive, well-resourced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor Registered Nurses and care staff
• Drive high-quality clinical care and resident outcomes
• Monitor care planning, assessments and clinical documentation
• Support accreditation readiness and continuous quality improvement
• Build strong relationships with residents, families and allied health
• Collaborate with the Facility Manager and leadership team
• Coach and develop staff to build a positive clinical culture
• Ensure compliance with clinical governance and aged care standards
About You
You are a supportive, organised and confident clinical leader who enjoys developing teams and delivering exceptional resident care.
You will also bring:
- Previous experience as a Care Manager, Clinical Manager or Clinical Care Coordinator
• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Experience leading clinical teams within residential aged care
• Confidence managing audits, accreditation and clinical governance
• Strong understanding of the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards
