Are you an experienced aged care leader with postgraduate qualifications and a proven track record of driving clinical excellence?
We're partnering with a respected aged care provider seeking an exceptional Care Manager to lead the clinical operations of a 100-bed residential aged care service. This is a key leadership position offering the opportunity to influence quality outcomes, mentor clinical teams, and play a pivotal role in the ongoing success of the service.

Reporting to the Residential Manager, you will provide strategic and operational clinical leadership across the service, ensuring exceptional care outcomes, regulatory compliance, and a culture of continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and mentoring the clinical team to deliver outstanding resident care
- Driving clinical governance, risk management and quality improvement initiatives
- Ensuring compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and regulatory requirements
- Leading accreditation and registration renewal readiness activities
- Monitoring quality indicators and implementing improvement plans
- Managing complex clinical issues, incident investigations and complaint resolution
- Overseeing clinical workforce planning, rostering and skill mix
- Supporting AN-ACC optimisation through strong clinical oversight and documentation
- Coaching and developing Registered Nurses and emerging clinical leaders
- Participating in shared on-call responsibilities and providing leadership support across the service
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Postgraduate qualifications in Aged Care, Gerontology, Clinical Leadership, Management or a related healthcare discipline (or currently undertaking)
- Significant experience in a Care Manager, Deputy Director of Nursing or equivalent senior leadership role
- Demonstrated success leading aged care teams through accreditation and regulatory processes
- Strong understanding of clinical governance, quality systems and risk management
- Experience managing high-performing multidisciplinary teams
- Strong knowledge of AN-ACC, clinical documentation and funding optimisation
- Excellent communication, coaching and stakeholder engagement skills
- A passion for building positive team cultures and delivering exceptional resident outcomes
