An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced and passionate Care Manager to join a well-established residential aged care provider in Geelong.

As the Care Manager, you'll oversee the clinical operations of the home, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred care while supporting and developing your clinical team. Working closely with the General Manager, you'll provide clinical leadership, oversee compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and foster a positive culture focused on resident wellbeing and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and support Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Personal Care Assistants.
- Oversee clinical assessments, care planning and documentation.
- Drive clinical governance, compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor clinical indicators, incidents and risk management processes.
- Mentor and develop the clinical team through coaching and education.
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, GPs and allied health professionals.
- Support accreditation readiness and ongoing quality improvement activities.
- Promote a positive culture centred on collaboration, accountability and resident outcomes.
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Previous clinical leadership experience within residential aged care.
- Strong understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards and clinical governance.
- Experience leading and developing multidisciplinary clinical teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Passionate about delivering exceptional resident-centred care.
- Organised, proactive and committed to continuous improvement.
