As the Care Manager, you will take full ownership of clinical operations within the home, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality, compliant, and resident-centred care. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining strong clinical standards, supporting the team, and driving positive outcomes for residents through effective leadership and oversight.
A key focus of the role will be leading and supporting accreditation readiness, strengthening clinical governance frameworks, and identifying opportunities to enhance care delivery and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strong clinical leadership and day-to-day oversight of care delivery.
- Lead and support accreditation processes, ensuring compliance with aged care standards.
- Oversee care planning, assessments, and clinical documentation.
- Support and mentor nursing and care staff to drive best practice and accountability.
- Manage clinical risks, incidents, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams to enhance care outcomes.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and bring fresh, innovative ideas to the service.
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (essential).
- Proven experience as a Care Manager or Clinical Care Coordinator within aged care.
- Strong accreditation experience – must be confident leading and supporting this process.
- Ability to step into a role with minimal onboarding and operate autonomously.
- A proactive, positive “can-do” attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute ideas.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Immediate start contract role with flexibility (8–12 weeks) and potential to go permanent.
