About the Opportunity
A well-established residential aged care home in Portland is seeking an experienced and clinically capable Care Manager to join the team during an exciting period of growth and service enhancement.
This is a highly rewarding opportunity for a compassionate, people-focused, and confident leader who thrives in a collaborative clinical environment. If you are hands-on, quality-driven, and passionate about leading teams, this role offers the chance to make a genuine impact while continuing to grow your leadership career within aged care.

About the Role
As the clinical lead for the service, you will oversee care delivery, support clinical governance, and mentor a multidisciplinary team to achieve strong resident outcomes.

About You
You are a compassionate, organised, and highly collaborative individual who genuinely enjoys supporting residents and leading teams to deliver exceptional care.
You will also bring:
  • Previous experience as a Care Manager, Clinical Manager, or senior clinical leader within aged care
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Confidence handling clinical escalations, family concerns, and compliance requirements
  • Strong understanding of aged care clinical governance and quality standards
  • Experience leading and developing multidisciplinary teams
  • Previous experience within residential aged care
What’s on Offer
  • Opportunity to join a stable and supportive aged care provider
  • Work within a welcoming and multicultural environment
  • Strong operational support and collaborative leadership team
  • Stable and growing sector with career progression opportunities
  • Meaningful work where you can make a genuine difference
  • Employee wellbeing and benefits program
  • Salary: $135,000 Super Salary Packaging
  • Relocation assistance and retention bonus or temporary accommodation available
  • Hours: Monday to Friday
About E4 People
E4 People has been a specialist healthcare recruitment partner since 2012. Over the past decade we have built deep relationships across aged care, allied health, and hospital settings throughout Australia. When you work with us, you get more than a single job opening. You get a recruiter who understands the sector, knows the leadership teams, and can talk honestly about culture, career pathways and where your skills will be valued.

What this looks like in practice:
  • A dedicated consultant who works with you on your career, not just this role
  • Honest market insight on salary, growth, and where the sector is moving
  • Discreet, professional handling at every stage. We do not share your details without permission
  • Ongoing support post placement, because the right fit matters longer than the offer date
  • We are proud that many of the candidates we place return to us years later for their next career move. That is the standard we aim for on every search.
