Looking for a Clinical Care Manager role where you'll be supported, empowered, and part of a collaborative leadership team?
We're partnering with a respected aged care provider to recruit an experienced Clinical Care Manager for a large residential aged care facility in Toowoomba. This is an opportunity to join an established leadership team where you'll work alongside another Clinical Care Manager, sharing responsibility for clinical operations while driving exceptional care outcomes for residents.
This isn't a role where you'll be left to manage everything on your own. You'll be surrounded by experienced leaders who value collaboration, continuous improvement, and high-quality resident care, giving you the support and autonomy to make a genuine impact.
About the Role
As Clinical Care Manager, you'll oversee the delivery of safe, person-centred clinical care while providing strong leadership to a multidisciplinary team. Working closely with the Facility Manager and wider leadership team, you'll ensure clinical excellence, maintain compliance with the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards, and contribute to a positive culture focused on residents, quality, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and support Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Care Staff to deliver outstanding clinical care.
- Oversee clinical governance, ensuring compliance with aged care legislation, accreditation requirements and organisational policies.
- Complete and review comprehensive clinical assessments and person-centred care plans.
- Monitor medication management, wound care, infection prevention, chronic disease management and complex clinical needs.
- Drive quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits and continuous improvement activities.
- Support incident investigations, risk management and clinical documentation standards.
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, GPs and allied health professionals to deliver holistic care.
- Contribute to workforce development through coaching, education and performance support.
About You
You'll be a confident clinical leader who enjoys developing teams, building positive relationships, and delivering high-quality care.
To be successful, you'll have:
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Bachelor of Nursing qualification.
- Previous experience as a Clinical Care Manager, Care Manager or similar clinical leadership role within residential aged care.
- Strong knowledge of the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards, clinical governance and accreditation.
- Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring multidisciplinary clinical teams.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and organisational skills.
- A genuine commitment to person-centred care and continuous improvement.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or the ability to obtain one).
