As the Clinical Care Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day clinical operations of the home, ensuring residents receive safe, high-quality, and compliant care. Working closely with the leadership team, you will provide hands-on clinical support, mentor staff, and contribute to maintaining strong clinical governance and best-practice care delivery.
This role is suited to a resilient and confident clinical leader who enjoys supporting and developing others, building strong relationships with staff and residents, and leading by example on the floor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day clinical leadership and support across the service.
- Mentor, coach, and support nursing and care staff to promote best-practice clinical outcomes.
- Oversee care planning, clinical documentation, and assessments to ensure quality and compliance standards are maintained.
- Support accreditation readiness, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor clinical incidents, risk management processes, and resident outcomes.
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure excellent care delivery.
- Lead by example, fostering a positive and supportive team culture.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA (essential).
- Previous experience within aged care in a Clinical Care Coordinator, Clinical Lead, Senior Registered Nurse, or similar position.
- Strong clinical knowledge with an understanding of aged care compliance and accreditation standards.
- A resilient, confident, and committed leader who can positively influence and mentor teams.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and relationship-building skills.
- A hands-on approach with the ability to work autonomously and lead with confidence.
- Competitive salary package of $115,000 – $125,000 Super.
