Description

We are currently partnering with a well-established and highly regarded aged care provider on the Central Coast to recruit for a Clinical Leadership opportunity within one of their residential aged care homes.
 
This role is ideal for an experienced Registered Nurse with previous leadership or supervisory experience who is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care and supporting the ongoing development of clinical and care teams.
 
Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring all services and practices are delivered with a strong focus on the individual resident
  • Providing clinical leadership, support, coaching and mentoring to nursing and care staff
  • Supervising and delegating tasks across the clinical and care teams within the facility
  • Liaising with allied health and healthcare professionals to ensure appropriate care plans are delivered
  • Building strong working relationships with staff, management, residents, families and external stakeholders
  • Promoting a positive working environment with a strong focus on WH&S and infection control practices
  • Ensuring monthly clinical indicators are collected, analysed and risks are appropriately reported
  • Maintaining high standards of documentation, compliance and clinical governance within the home
 
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or clinical leadership position
  • A genuine passion for aged care and resident wellbeing
  • Strong understanding of AN-ACC and Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, resident-focused approach
  • Sound clinical knowledge within aged care and palliative care settings
 
Essential requirements:
  • Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Experience within Gerontological Nursing and Palliative Care
  • Current Police Check
