We are seeking an experienced Clinical Care Coordinator (AHPRA Registered Nurse) to support the clinical operations of a residential aged care facility.
This is a pivotal leadership role working closely with the Care Manager and Facility Manager to oversee care delivery, clinical compliance, documentation standards, and risk management. This is a fully onsite position and remote working is not available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the oversight of clinical operations across the facility.
- Assist in driving compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and preparation for accreditation.
- Monitor AN-ACC documentation accuracy and funding alignment.
- Provide leadership and support to Registered Nurses and care staff.
- Assist in managing clinical incidents, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with the Care Manager and Facility Manager to ensure strong clinical and operational outcomes.
- Maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor of Nursing with current AHPRA registration – essential.
- Demonstrated experience in a Clinical Care Coordinator, or similar leadership role within Residential Aged Care.
- Strong understanding of accreditation and clinical governance frameworks.
- Experience supporting teams and contributing to quality improvement outcomes.
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment – desirable but not essential.
- Sound understanding of AN-ACC funding and aged care compliance.
- Strong communication, organisation, and leadership skills.
- $65 – $67 per hour Super Salary Packaging.
