Summary of the Position
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Care Manager to provide clinical leadership within a residential aged care community in Bendigo. This is a rewarding opportunity for a Registered Nurse who enjoys leading teams, building strong relationships with residents and families, and delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
In this role, you will oversee clinical care delivery, support and mentor nursing and care staff, and work collaboratively with operational leaders to ensure residents feel safe, respected, and supported to live well.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strong clinical leadership and oversight of resident care, ensuring care is planned, delivered, and reviewed in line with best practice and aged care standards
  • Lead and support a multidisciplinary team, fostering a positive, collaborative, and supportive workplace culture
  • Partner with residents and families to ensure care is person-centred, responsive, and promotes choice, dignity, and quality of life
  • Oversee clinical documentation, care planning, and risk management processes
  • Support compliance with accreditation standards and contribute to audits and continuous improvement activities
  • Guide and mentor Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, and Care Staff through coaching, education, and professional development
  • Assist with rostering and workforce planning to ensure safe staffing levels and appropriate skill mix
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives that enhance resident outcomes and staff experience
Key Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
  • Solid experience in residential aged care as a Clinical Care Coordinator or Care Manager, with a strong understanding of contemporary best practice
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a clinical or care management role
  • Strong knowledge of aged care standards, compliance, and clinical governance
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • A genuine commitment to person-centred care and team development
  • Relevant checks and clearances required for employment in aged care
