About the Role:
As the Care Manager, you will play a key leadership role overseeing the clinical operations of the home, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, and compliant care to residents. You will work closely with the leadership team to support staff, strengthen clinical governance processes, and drive positive outcomes across the service.
This role is suited to a confident clinical leader who enjoys being hands-on, building strong relationships with staff and residents, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the home.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day clinical leadership and oversight across the service.
  • Support and mentor nursing and care staff to promote best practice clinical care.
  • Oversee care planning, clinical documentation, and assessments to ensure compliance and quality outcomes.
  • Assist in managing accreditation readiness, audits, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Monitor clinical incidents, risk management processes, and resident outcomes.
  • Collaborate with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high standards of care delivery.
  • Contribute ideas and initiatives that improve operational and clinical performance.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (essential).
  • Experience within aged care in a Clinical Care Coordinator, Clinical Manager, or Care Manager capacity.
  • Strong clinical knowledge with an understanding of accreditation and aged care compliance standards.
  • A confident and proactive leadership style with the ability to support and develop teams.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and relationship-building skills.
  • A hands-on approach with the ability to work autonomously and positively influence team culture.
