Toowoomba QLD
Full-Time, Permanent | Monday to Friday

Are you an experienced clinical leader looking for a role where you can genuinely make an impact? We are partnering with a well-established, values-driven aged care provider to recruit a Care Manager for a welcoming, community-focused residential facility in Toowoomba.
This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a leadership role within a medium-sized home environment, where you’ll have the autonomy to lead, influence quality outcomes, and build strong relationships with residents, families, and staff.
About the Role
As Care Manager, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality clinical and personal care across a medium-sized residential aged care facility. Working closely with the Service Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring compliance, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a positive team culture.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading clinical and care teams to deliver safe, person-centred care
- Overseeing care planning, assessments, and medication management
- Ensuring compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and accreditation requirements
- Mentoring and supporting nursing and care staff
- Collaborating on workforce planning, budgets, and operational improvements
- Driving a culture of accountability, compassion, and continuous improvement
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (essential)
- Proven experience in a clinical leadership role within aged care
- Strong understanding of aged care compliance and quality standards
- The ability to lead, mentor, and engage teams in a smaller facility setting
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Full working rights in Australia
Local candidates are highly regarded, though relocation support (within Australia) may be considered for the right applicant.
