We are seeking an experienced Care Manager (AHPRA Registered Nurse) to lead the clinical operations of a residential aged care facility.
This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing care delivery, clinical compliance, risk management, and governance standards. With accreditation scheduled for January 2026, you will play a central role in ensuring the service maintains high-quality outcomes and regulatory readiness. This is a fully onsite position and remote working is not available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all clinical operations across the facility.
- Drive compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and prepare for upcoming accreditation.
- Oversee AN-ACC optimisation, documentation accuracy, and funding alignment.
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and performance management to the clinical team.
- Manage clinical incidents, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with the Facility Manager to ensure operational and clinical alignment.
- Maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor of Nursing with AHPRA registration.
- Demonstrated experience in a Care Manager / Clinical Care Manager role within Residential Aged Care – essential.
- Strong working knowledge of accreditation and clinical governance frameworks.
- Experience leading teams and driving quality improvement outcomes.
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment – desirable but not essential.
- Sound understanding of AN-ACC funding and aged care compliance.
- Excellent communication and leadership capability.
- $150K – $160K Super salary package.
- $10K relocation support.
- Over $10K retention bonus after 18 months.
