An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Clinical Manager to join a well-established residential aged care home in Bendigo. This role offers the chance to play a key leadership role in shaping the clinical standards of the service while supporting and developing a dedicated team of nurses and care staff. Working closely with the Facility Manager and broader leadership team, you will oversee the day-to-day clinical operations of the home, ensuring residents receive safe, high-quality, person-centred care.
This is an ideal opportunity for a strong clinical leader who enjoys mentoring teams, improving care outcomes, and driving continuous improvement within a well-resourced service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strong clinical leadership and day-to-day guidance to nursing and care teams
- Oversee clinical assessments, documentation, and care planning processes
- Support high standards of clinical governance, compliance and best practice care
- Monitor clinical indicators and use data to identify improvement opportunities
- Lead incident management, risk identification and quality improvement initiatives
- Build strong relationships with residents, families and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Mentor and support nurses and care staff to strengthen capability and confidence
- Contribute to accreditation readiness and ongoing regulatory compliance
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
- Demonstrated experience in a Clinical Manager, Care Manager, or senior clinical leadership role within residential aged care
- Strong understanding of clinical governance, aged care standards and compliance
- A collaborative leadership style with a passion for mentoring and supporting teams
- Confidence in clinical decision-making and care planning
- Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills
- A genuine commitment to resident-centred care and continuous improvement
- Experience with funding models or accreditation processes is advantageous but not essential. Full support and training will be provided.
