About the Role
As Clinical Manager, you will provide hands-on clinical leadership and operational support to ensure safe, compliant, and person-centred care delivery. This role will require someone confident, proactive, and comfortable stepping into an established team to provide guidance, oversight, and stability.
You will play a key role in maintaining clinical governance, supporting care minutes, mentoring staff, and ensuring regulatory compliance during the contract period.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day clinical leadership and support to nursing and care teams.
  • Oversee assessments, documentation, and care planning to ensure compliance and quality outcomes.
  • Monitor clinical indicators and support quality improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with incident management, risk mitigation, and audit readiness.
  • Maintain strong communication with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Support care minute compliance and workforce planning.
  • Promote a positive team culture and maintain staff engagement during the contract period.
What We’re Looking For
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Previous experience as a Clinical Manager or senior clinical leader within residential aged care.
  • Strong understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and clinical governance frameworks.
  • Confidence stepping into short-term contracts and quickly assessing site needs.
  • Calm, hands-on leadership style with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Strong organisational skills and sound clinical judgement.
