Locum Clinical Nurse – Bollon Clinic (QLD)

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse to fill a locum vacancy at Bollon Clinic for a 6-week placement.

About Bollon Clinic Bollon Clinic is a 2-nurse service (Director of Nursing & Clinical Nurse), supported by administration and operational services.

• Located just over 1 hour west of St George Hospital, which provides ED, inpatient, birth suite, theatre and radiology services
• Weekly GP visits (Tuesdays)
• Monthly outreach services: physiotherapy, podiatry and child health
• 24/7 phone consult support available from St George doctors
• Clinic hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
• After-hours on-call shared between nurses for Hospital Based Ambulance
  (manual driver’s licence required)

• $80.08 per hour
• All travel covered
• Private onsite accommodation provided, including:
  
  • Queen bedroom & private bathroom
  • Kitchen, lounge and laundry
• Driving strongly encouraged

• Current AHPRA registration
• Completion of Queensland Health mandatory training
• National Police Check & Working With Children Check
  (NDIS and Aged Care Checks not required)
• Vaccination compliance:
  
  • MMR, dTpa, Varicella, Hep B, TB screening
  • COVID & Influenza recommended (not mandatory)
• ALS, PALS & Triage
• One of the following:
  
  • REC / PHTLS / TNCC or
  • Previous Hospital Based Ambulance experience
• Imminent Birth & Neonatal Resuscitation, MEC, or dual-qualified RM
• Competency in Cannulation & Venepuncture
• Manual driver’s licence

• Rural or remote nursing experience
• Previous MPHS or rural ED experience
