Deputy Director of Nursing
Step into a senior clinical leadership role within a large residential aged care facility in south of Rockhampton. Working closely with the Director of Nursing, you’ll play a pivotal role in leading clinical teams, supporting governance, and ensuring high-quality, person-centred care across the facility.

The role
- Support the Director of Nursing with clinical governance and operational leadership
- Provide direct leadership to Clinical Nurses and indirect oversight of care staff
- Drive compliance, quality standards, and best-practice clinical outcomes
- Act as a key escalation point for clinical matters
About you
- Previous experience as a Deputy Director of Nursing OR
- An experienced Registered Nurse / Clinical Nurse ready to step into a senior leadership role
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- A passion for delivering high-quality aged care
Mandatory Requirements
- Current registration with AHPRA
- NDIS Screening with no disclosable outcomes
- Statutory Declaration regarding criminal history and suitability for employment
- No impediment to employment (e.g., bankruptcy, legal restrictions)
- All vaccinations mandated by the Health Department for the aged care sector
