heart-circle-plus-regular   Whats on Offer:

Description

Starting your OT career can feel overwhelming, this clinic is set up to make sure it doesn’t.

This North Ryde role is within a long-standing paediatric OT clinic known for developing early career therapists into confident, capable clinicians. The focus is on finding the right team fit and creating an environment where therapists feel supported, connected, and genuinely enjoy coming to work.

The clinic has a highly collaborative structure, with experienced OTs working alongside early career clinicians, and strong integration with Speech Pathologists across shared caseloads. The environment is warm, social, and team-oriented.

Why this is for you!

  • Salary ranging from $80,000 - $90,000 Super
  • Early career / new graduate friendly role with structured support
  • Learn alongside experienced OTs who actively guide and mentor
  • Join a clinic with excellent staff retention (many clinicians over 7–8 years!)
  • Be part of a genuinely connected team that values relationships and culture fit
  • Flexible working options including part time and reduced hours
  • Manageable workload with clear expectations and strong boundary-setting support
  • Significant admin support (including a large admin/student team assisting therapists)
  • Work in a collaborative OT Speech environment with shared learning opportunities
  • Opportunity to shape your development around your interests
  • Time allocated to planning, documentation, supervision and development
  • Flexible scheduling options including condensed days when needed!
The day to day:
  • Deliver paediatric OT sessions within a primarily clinic-based setting
  • Work closely with Speech Pathologists across shared goals such as emotional regulation, social skills and feeding
  • Manage a balanced caseload with support to build confidence over time
  • Use structured systems that track workload and support sustainable practice
  • Engage in a mix of therapy, planning, supervision and professional development across your week
Team & support:
  • Work alongside experienced senior OTs who provide day-to-day guidance and support
  • Be part of a team where collaboration is built into the daily rhythm, not just scheduled sessions
  • Strong peer support, with clinicians regularly sharing ideas and problem-solving together
  • Integrated work with Speech Pathologists across shared caseloads and goals
  • Dedicated time built into your week for learning, development and reflection
  • A leadership team that prioritises clinician wellbeing, sustainability and long-term growth
  • A social, connected environment where team relationships are genuinely valued
The clinic:
  • Purpose-built paediatric environment including a movement space, climbing wall and therapy kitchen
  • Strong focus on functional, play-based therapy rather than highly equipment-driven models
  • Integrated OT and Speech Pathology team working collaboratively
  • Regular opportunities for shared learning, including external speakers and internal knowledge-sharing
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • Full AHPRA registration (or eligibility)
  • Interest in paediatrics
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to learn
  • Full Australian working rights
