Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Educator & Compliance Officer to join their leadership team on a part time basis. This role is perfect for an experienced RN who is passionate about staff development, quality standards and delivering exceptional resident care.
About the Role
Working closely with the Facility Manager and clinical leadership team, you will be responsible for:
• Delivering in-house education, orientation and competency training for all staff
• Developing annual education calendars and training needs analysis
• Leading quality auditing using established audit tools and creating CQI action plans
• Reviewing clinical incidents, identifying trends and implementing education-based improvements
• Preparing monthly reports on incidents, indicators and audit outcomes
• Supporting compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards
• Chairing Consumer Advisory Committee meetings
• Playing a key role in continuous improvement and staff development across the facility
What We’re Looking For
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in residential aged care
• Experience in education, auditing, accreditation and continuous improvement
• Strong understanding of clinical governance, incident management and regulatory compliance
• Confident communicator with excellent organisational and leadership skills
• Proficient in aged care systems (e.g. Manad, BestMed, BestTrack) or similar
Additional Requirements
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Commitment to ongoing CPD (minimum 20 hours annually)
