As Facility Manager, you will take full leadership responsibility for the operational, financial, and cultural performance of a residential aged care service.
These opportunities suit leaders who are confident decision-makers, strong people leaders, and highly organised operators who understand how to balance clinical quality, compliance, team performance, and resident outcomes.
You will work closely with executive leadership and clinical teams to ensure the service maintains strong accreditation standards, positive workforce culture, and sustainable operational performance. This is a hands-on leadership position where visibility, communication, and accountability are critical to success.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide visible, confident leadership across the entire facility
- Drive team performance, engagement, and accountability
- Oversee financial performance, occupancy, and operational KPIs
- Ensure ongoing compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards
- Lead and develop clinical leaders and department managers
- Manage workforce planning, recruitment, and performance management
- Maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and community stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across care and operations
- Proven experience as a Facility Manager within Residential Aged Care – essential
- Strong knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards and accreditation requirements
- Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and build strong culture
- Experience managing budgets, occupancy, and operational performance
- Resilient, solutions-focused leadership style
- Ability to maintain structure, accountability, and clear communication
