Facility Manager

As Facility Manager, you’ll have overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the home. You’ll lead with compassion and purpose, balancing quality care, compliance, and operational performance while fostering a positive and inclusive culture for residents, families, and staff.
This is a hands-on leadership role where your presence, communication, and decision-making will directly shape the experience of those who live and work in the home.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide visible, compassionate leadership across all areas of the home
- Create and maintain a culture of resident-centred, high-quality care
- Oversee operational performance, including staffing, budgets, and resources
- Ensure compliance with aged care standards and support ongoing accreditation readiness
- Support, coach, and develop your leadership and care teams
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance care outcomes and staff engagement
- Proven leadership experience within residential aged care as a Facility Manager or similar senior operational position
- A genuine commitment to resident wellbeing, dignity, and quality of life
- Strong people leadership skills, with the ability to engage and motivate teams
- Sound understanding of aged care compliance and operational requirements (or willingness to develop further)
- Comfortable managing budgets, resources, and competing priorities
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative leadership style
- Registered Nurse qualification and AHPRA registration.
