Description

A well respected, values-led aged care provider are looking for an experienced Facility Manager to join their residential facility. This is a key leadership role where you’ll be supported by an experienced corporate team while having the autonomy to lead culture, quality, and performance on site.
 
The opportunity
You’ll lead the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring safe, high-quality resident care, a positive team culture, strong compliance outcomes, and sustainable operational performance.
 
Key responsibilities

• Lead whole-of-home operations across clinical governance, resident experience, workforce and compliance
• Build a high-performing culture, driving engagement, capability and accountability
• Oversee accreditation readiness, audits, complaints management and continuous improvement
• Manage rosters, budgets, occupancy, resources and key performance metrics
• Partner with residents, families and stakeholders to maintain a strong community reputation
• Coach and develop the leadership team to ensure consistent standards and service delivery

• Proven experience as a Facility Manager in residential aged care (or strong Acting FM / Deputy / AGM ready to step up)
• Strong knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards and compliance expectations
• Confident people leader with a “firm but fair” approach and strong relationship management
• Commercially minded with experience managing budgets, rosters and operational performance
• AHPRA registration as an RN is highly regarded (or demonstrated clinical governance capability)
