Description
We are partnering with a highly regarded residential aged care provider to recruit an experienced Facility Manager to lead one of their homes.
Reporting directly to the Regional Manager, this is a true “head of the home” opportunity offering the chance to make a meaningful and lasting impact on residents, families, staff and the wider community.
This is a senior leadership role suited to a strong people leader with commercial awareness, who enjoys balancing quality care, operational performance and a positive workplace culture.
About the Role
As Facility Manager, you will take full accountability for the overall leadership and performance of the home, including:
- Leading and inspiring a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care
- Fostering a warm, supportive and engaging environment for residents, families and staff
- Ensuring safe, efficient and fully compliant operations
- Managing budgets, occupancy levels and financial performance
- Driving continuous improvement and strong quality outcomes
- Building trusted relationships with families, stakeholders and the local community
- Mentoring and developing your leadership team to support succession and growth
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- A genuine passion for improving the lives of older Australians
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a management position (aged care or healthcare preferred)
- Strong, collaborative leadership capability
- Sound commercial and operational acumen
- Experience navigating multiple reporting systems and performance frameworks
- Confidence managing compliance, accreditation and quality outcomes
