Summary:
Take on a senior leadership position as Residential Aged Care Manager with a respected aged care organisation, overseeing the daily operations of a residential facility in Melbourne’s southeastern suburbs. In this role, you will drive a culture of high-quality, resident-focused care, ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, support and develop your team, and enhance the wellbeing of every resident.
This is an opportunity for a motivated leader to create a positive, nurturing environment while guiding staff to achieve their full potential and make a meaningful impact on the lives of those in their care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain adherence to all legislative and regulatory requirements, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous quality assurance.
  • Oversee day-to-day management, strategic planning, and financial oversight to ensure effective, sustainable, and high-quality service delivery.
  • Mentor and guide a multidisciplinary team, encouraging professional development, collaboration, and a commitment to excellence in care.
  • Develop strong connections with residents, families, and the broader community, encouraging open communication and a supportive, inclusive environment.
  • Spearhead the delivery of high standards of resident-focused care, ensuring dignity, compassion, and personalised support are at the centre of all services.
  • Implement initiatives that strengthen service quality and best practice, ensuring ongoing progress and positive outcomes for residents.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Bachelor of Nursing with current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Strong operational leadership experience in residential aged care as either a Facility Manager or an experienced Clinical Manager, looking to take a step up.
  • Additional tertiary qualifications in management or a related field are highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and support a team, with a focus on service quality, compliance, and resident wellbeing.
  • Strong understanding of aged care legislation, accreditation standards, and funding frameworks such as AN-ACC.
  • Experience in budgeting, resource allocation, and financial oversight to ensure sustainable operations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with residents, families, and staff.
  • Full Australian working rights (citizenship, permanent residency, or valid visa).
