A rare opportunity is available for an experienced and commercially minded Facility Manager to lead a large residential aged care home in Keilor, VIC.

As Facility Manager, you’ll take overall responsibility for the day-to-day leadership and performance of the home, ensuring high-quality resident outcomes while maintaining strong operational, financial and workforce performance.
You’ll work closely with your senior leadership team and broader stakeholders to drive continuous improvement, strengthen team capability and ensure the home consistently delivers against its operational objectives.
This is a highly visible leadership position suited to an experienced aged care leader who enjoys being hands-on, building strong relationships and creating a positive team culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the overall operations and performance of the residential aged care home.
- Provide strong leadership across clinical, operational, workforce and support functions.
- Drive a positive, resident-focused culture and consistently high standards of care.
- Monitor financial performance, budgets, occupancy, workforce and key operational metrics.
- Lead workforce planning, recruitment, performance management and leadership development.
- Oversee quality, compliance, risk and governance requirements.
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, staff and external stakeholders.
- Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Work collaboratively with regional and senior leadership to deliver organisational objectives.
- STRONG experience as a Facility Manager, Residential Manager, General Manager or similar senior leadership role within residential aged care.
- Registered Nurse qualification and current AHPRA registration.
- Strong understanding of residential aged care operations, clinical governance and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated commercial acumen, including experience managing budgets, occupancy and operational performance.
- Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A genuine passion for creating positive outcomes for residents, families and teams.
