Description
I’m currently partnering with a well-regarded residential aged care provider to recruit an experienced Facility Manager to lead one of their homes. Reporting directly to the Regional Manager, this role is the “head of the home” position and offers a genuine opportunity to make a meaningful impact on residents, families, staff, and the wider community.
This is a rewarding senior leadership role for a strong people leader with commercial acumen, who thrives in balancing quality care, operational excellence, and culture.
About the role
As Facility Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and performance of the home, including:
- Leading and inspiring a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care
- Creating a warm, supportive, and positive environment for residents, families, and staff
- Ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations across the home
- Managing budgets, occupancy, and revenue targets
- Driving continuous improvement and quality outcomes
- Building strong relationships with families, stakeholders, and the local community
- Supporting, developing, and growing your leadership team
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- A genuine desire to make a difference in people’s lives
- At least 5 years’ experience in a management role, ideally within aged care or healthcare
- Strong leadership capability with a collaborative and inclusive management style
- Sound commercial and operational acumen
- Experience working across multiple systems and reporting frameworks
- Confidence managing compliance, quality, and performance outcomes
