As Facility Manager, you will play an integral leadership role within the home, providing clinical guidance, support, and oversight to ensure consistently high standards of resident-centred care. Working closely with the leadership team, you’ll help foster a positive, collaborative culture while strengthening clinical governance and supporting the ongoing development of the service.
This role offers the best of both worlds - the opportunity to remain hands-on and connected to the team, while also contributing at a strategic level to drive quality outcomes and long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strong, supportive clinical leadership across the home
- Champion a culture of safe, high-quality, resident-focused care
- Support compliance with aged care standards and accreditation readiness
- Work collaboratively with leadership to embed best practice and continuous improvement
- Mentor and develop nursing and care staff, building capability and confidence
- Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and the local community
- Use clinical insight and data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration (NOT ESSENTIAL)
- Proven experience in clinical leadership within residential aged care
- A genuine passion for resident wellbeing, dignity, and quality of life
- A collaborative and approachable leadership style
- Strong understanding of clinical governance and compliance
- Ability to balance hands-on leadership with strategic thinking
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
