Description
Facility Manager
Newcastle
$155,000 – $160,000 + Super + Salary Packaging (potential stretch for the right candidate) | Not-for-Profit Provider
If you're an experienced Facility Manager looking for a well-run home where you can lead with confidence, support an established team and work within a genuinely stable environment, this could be worth a conversation.
We are currently recruiting for a Facility Manager to join a large and well-established not-for-profit aged care provider in Newcastle.
This is a medium-sized nursing home that is fully compliant, operating smoothly and supported by a positive working culture. The successful candidate will be stepping into a home with a strong foundation, an established team and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact without walking into a turnaround situation.
The Opportunity
- $155,000 – $160,000 + Super + Salary Packaging
- Potential to stretch the salary package for the right candidate
- Medium-sized residential aged care home
- Fully compliant and running smoothly
- Positive and established working culture
- Lead a structure of Facility Manager → 2 x CCCs → RNs → Care Staff
- Join a large and well-established not-for-profit provider
- Opportunity to lead an experienced team while continuing to drive high standards of care and service
We're keen to speak with experienced aged care leaders who are confident managing the operational, clinical and people aspects of a residential aged care home.
You'll ideally bring:
- Previous experience in a Facility Manager, Residential Manager or equivalent senior aged care leadership position
- AHPRA Registration i.e. currently a Registered Nurse
- Strong understanding of residential aged care operations and compliance
- The ability to lead, support and develop clinical and care teams
- A collaborative and hands-on leadership style
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to engage with residents, families, staff and senior stakeholders
- A genuine commitment to delivering high-quality care and creating a positive environment for residents and employees
This is an opportunity to join a provider with a strong reputation and step into a stable, well-supported home rather than a facility requiring significant remediation.
With a competitive salary package, salary packaging benefits and an established leadership structure already in place, this could be an excellent next move for an experienced Facility Manager looking for stability, support and the opportunity to lead a strong home.
