Summary of the Position
We are partnering with a respected aged care provider seeking an experienced Facility Manager to lead a welcoming and well-established residential aged care home in Melbourne's south-east.

This is an opportunity to join an organisation that places residents at the centre of everything it does and is committed to creating a positive environment for both residents and staff. Supported by an experienced leadership team, you will play a key role in fostering a strong culture, leading a dedicated workforce, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional care and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring high standards of care, service, and resident experience
  • Inspire, support, and develop multidisciplinary teams to create a positive and engaged workplace culture
  • Ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred care in line with organisational values and industry standards
  • Oversee staffing, occupancy, budgets, and operational performance
  • Maintain compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and regulatory requirements
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance outcomes for residents and staff
  • Build trusted relationships with residents, families, employees, and external stakeholders
  • Support accreditation activities and uphold strong clinical governance practices
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to achieve strategic and operational objectives
What We Are Looking For
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Previous experience as a Facility Manager, Residential Manager, or equivalent leadership role within residential aged care
  • Demonstrated success leading larger aged care homes of 100 beds, with responsibility for both operational and clinical performance
  • A visible and approachable leadership style that brings teams together and creates a positive workplace culture
  • Strong knowledge of aged care operations, quality standards, accreditation, occupancy, and financial performance
  • Experience leading change and supporting teams through periods of growth, improvement, and transformation
  • The ability to build meaningful relationships with residents, families, staff, and key stakeholders
  • A balanced approach to leadership, combining strong operational management with genuine compassion and resident-focused care
  • A commitment to creating an environment where residents receive exceptional care and staff feel valued, supported, and empowered
