Description
We are seeking an experienced Aged Care Facility Manager / Care Home Manager to lead a stable residential aged care service.
This is a senior aged care leadership role where you will oversee clinical governance, operational performance, and compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and Aged Care Act 2024.
You will play a key role in ensuring high-quality, person-centred care while leading a multidisciplinary team and maintaining strong financial and operational outcomes.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Leading overall operations of a residential aged care facility
- Driving clinical governance, compliance, and accreditation readiness
- Overseeing budgets, funding, and financial performance
- Leading workforce management and aged care team development
- Managing quality systems aligned to Aged Care Quality Standards
- Strengthening occupancy, referrals, and community engagement
- Managing risk, incidents, complaints, and continuous improvement
- Delivering strong outcomes in dementia care and palliative care services
About You
- Experienced Facility Manager, Residential Care Manager, or Clinical Manager
- Strong background in aged care operations and leadership
- Knowledge of Aged Care Act 2024 and accreditation standards
- Experience in clinical governance, quality, and compliance
- Strong capability in budget management and workforce leadership
- Background in dementia care and palliative care highly regarded
- AHPRA registration and/or tertiary nursing qualifications desirable
