Facility Manager

Summary of the Position
E4 are on the hunt for an experienced, people-centred leader to step into the Facility Manager role at a large residential aged care home in the Gippsland region. This is an excellent opportunity for someone committed to fostering a high-quality, resident-focused environment while leading and supporting a dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strong leadership to a dedicated team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture where staff feel supported, valued and motivated.
  • Partner with clinical and care teams to uphold excellent standards and meet all regulatory and care requirements.
  • Oversee day-to-day operational functions, including rostering, admissions, customer service and workflow management.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with residents and families, ensuring a positive, well-supported experience.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for enhancement and supporting team development.
  • Ensure all documentation, systems and practices comply with aged care standards and accreditation expectations.
  • Contribute to financial, occupancy and operational goals through strategic planning and collaborative decision-making.

Key Requirements
  • Bachelor of Nursing with AHPRA Registration (we may consider non-clinical candidates).
  • Proven experience leading a residential aged care home or similar clinical/operational environment.
  • Strong understanding of aged care standards, accreditation processes, and quality improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to build cohesive teams and engage staff from diverse backgrounds.
  • Confidence in managing budgets, rosters, financial indicators and operational reporting.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building and problem-solving skills.
  • Post-graduate qualifications in health management, leadership or aged care (desirable).
