As Facility Manager, you will take ownership of the overall performance of the home, leading both clinical and operational functions. You’ll play a key role in shaping a positive team culture, driving compliance, and ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, resident-centred care.
This is a hands-on leadership position suited to someone who enjoys building strong teams, improving performance, and creating an environment where both staff and residents can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and quality standards
- Inspire and develop a multidisciplinary team, promoting accountability and a strong care culture
- Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, rostering, and resource allocation
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain high standards of care delivery
- Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and key stakeholders
- Monitor and enhance quality and clinical governance systems
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration (NOT ESSENTIAL)
- Proven experience in a Facility Manager (or similar leadership) role within aged care
- Strong knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards, AN-ACC, and compliance frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to manage operations, budgets, and workforce planning
- A confident and supportive leader with excellent communication skills
- Passion for fostering a positive culture and developing teams
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capability
- Relevant qualifications in Health, Business, or Management (desirable)
