An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Program Manager – Home Care to take on a key leadership role in Bendigo. This position is responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality, person-centred home care and respite services to older people living in the community. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, ensure compliance with aged care standards, and drive service excellence while managing resources effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and support to Home Care and Respite teams to deliver consumer-directed services.
- Oversee assessment, care planning, and service delivery to promote independence and wellbeing for older people.
- Monitor budgets and financial performance while exploring opportunities for service growth.
- Ensure compliance with aged care quality standards, risk management frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead accreditation, quality improvement initiatives, and continuous service development.
- Build positive relationships with clients, families, carers, and referral partners.
- Promote a supportive team culture with a focus on professional development and collaboration.
- Tertiary qualifications in management, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven leadership and operational management experience within health, aged care, or community services.
- Strong knowledge of assessment, care planning, and service delivery in community aged care.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
- Experience in financial management, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Understanding of compliance, risk management, and accreditation processes.
- Current Police Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Current driver’s licence and ability to travel as required.
