An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Human Resources Officer to join a well-established, community-focused aged care organisation in Cheltenham, VIC.
This is a part-time position working 3 days per week, offering the opportunity to play a key role in supporting employees, strengthening workplace culture and providing practical HR guidance across a close-knit organisation.

As the Human Resources Officer, you’ll provide hands-on HR support across the organisation, partnering closely with managers and employees across the full employee lifecycle.
From recruitment and onboarding through to employee relations, performance management, HR compliance and workplace culture, you’ll be a trusted point of contact for both employees and leaders.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day HR support to managers and employees.
- Manage recruitment, onboarding and employee lifecycle processes.
- Support performance management and employee relations matters.
- Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures and employment conditions.
- Maintain accurate HR records and documentation.
- Support workforce planning and organisational initiatives.
- Assist with HR compliance and workplace relations matters.
- Contribute to employee engagement, culture and wellbeing initiatives.
- Build strong relationships across the organisation and support positive workplace outcomes.
- Previous experience in a Human Resources Officer or similar HR role.
- Experience within aged care, healthcare or another regulated environment highly regarded.
- Strong understanding of HR processes, employee relations and workplace compliance.
- Warm, approachable and confident communication style.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable working autonomously and partnering with leaders.
- A genuine people-focused approach and passion for creating positive workplace experiences.
