Description
A well-established not-for-profit aged care provider is seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Lifestyle Assistant to join their team.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, creating engaging activities and making a genuine difference in the lives of older people. Working alongside an experienced Lifestyle Coordinator, you'll help deliver a diverse lifestyle program that promotes independence, wellbeing and social connection.

About the Role
As a Lifestyle Assistant, you will support the planning, coordination and delivery of meaningful lifestyle programs that encourage residents to stay active, engaged and connected.
This role combines activity facilitation, one-on-one resident engagement, group activities and community involvement within a welcoming and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of engaging lifestyle and wellbeing programs
• Facilitate group and individual activities for residents
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families
• Encourage resident participation and independence
• Assist with planning and preparing daily activities and events
• Maintain accurate lifestyle documentation and attendance records
• Support special events, outings and celebrations
• Work collaboratively with the wider care team
About You
You are a caring, enthusiastic and approachable individual who enjoys helping older people live fulfilling and meaningful lives.
You will also bring:
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Leisure & Health or a higher qualification
• Experience working in aged care, disability, community or healthcare
• Confidence facilitating activities with older people
• A genuine passion for person-centred care and resident wellbeing
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team
