Are you passionate about creating meaningful experiences and building genuine connections with older people? This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Lifestyle Coordinator (or strong Lifestyle Assistant looking to step up) to join a well-established residential aged care provider in Prahran.
Working within a large and vibrant home environment, you will play a key leadership role in driving resident engagement, supporting Lifestyle staff and volunteers, and delivering high-quality, person-centred programs that enrich the lives of residents every day.

What you’ll be doing
- Coordinating and delivering engaging lifestyle and wellbeing programs tailored to resident interests and needs.
- Leading, mentoring, and supporting Lifestyle Assistants and volunteers within the home.
- Building strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and the broader community.
- Creating meaningful activities that promote emotional, social, cultural, and physical wellbeing.
- Supporting a positive and inclusive team culture through visible and hands-on leadership.
- Managing lifestyle documentation, care plans, calendars, newsletters, and compliance requirements.
- Coordinating entertainers, events, bus outings, and community engagement initiatives.
- Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic resident care and engagement.
- Certificate IV in Leisure & Health (or equivalent qualification).
- Previous experience within Lifestyle in aged care as a Coordinator, Team Leader, Manager, or senior Lifestyle Assistant.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate teams.
- Experience working within large residential aged care homes highly regarded.
- A warm, energetic, and resident-focused personality.
- Strong organisational and documentation skills.
- Someone who is culturally aware, visible within the home, and passionate about creating meaningful resident experiences
