Maintenance Officer | Residential Aged Care Eastern Suburbs | Full Time 

The Opportunity We're partnering with a well-established not-for-profit aged care provider to recruit a Maintenance Officer for a full-time permanent opportunity in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs.

This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day, takes pride in maintaining safe and welcoming environments, and enjoys working as part of a supportive team. You'll work across both Residential Aged Care and Retirement Living, helping ensure buildings, gardens and outdoor spaces are well maintained for residents and staff.

Key Information

• Full-time permanent position (76 hours per fortnight)
• Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday – Residential Aged Care
• Tuesday – Retirement Living
• Up to $35.00 per hour + Super + Salary Packaging (trade qualified)
• $30.48 per hour + Super + Salary Packaging (non-trade)

• Completing general maintenance and repair work
• Basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry and building maintenance
• Gardening and grounds maintenance including mowing, hedging and general upkeep
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance
• Responding to reactive maintenance requests
• Ensuring maintenance works meet compliance requirements
• Promoting safe work practices and contributing to Work Health & Safety

• Current Australian Driver's Licence
• Previous maintenance or building experience
• Trade qualification (highly regarded)
• Strong general maintenance skills across multiple trades
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Experience within aged care or retirement living (desirable)
• Experience in building, plumbing, welding or a related trade (desirable)
