Description
This established community allied health provider has been supporting clients across NSW for more than 15 years. Backed by experienced Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology and Dietetics teams, you'll join a multidisciplinary environment with a strong referral network, established systems and a large existing client base, allowing you to focus on developing your clinical skills rather than building a caseload.
You'll receive structured onboarding, regular supervision and a gradual pathway into more complex clinical work. You'll begin with ongoing adult therapy before progressively developing skills in Assistive Technology, Functional Capacity Assessments and other advanced services as your confidence grows.
The role is predominantly community-based, working primarily with adult participants, with the flexibility to gradually develop a clinical niche as your interests evolve. Rather than being expected to do everything from day one, you'll be supported to build your caseload and clinical expertise at a pace that sets you up for long-term success. and experience.
About the Role
- Community Occupational Therapy with referrals limited to the radius around your home
- Exclusively working with adult clients or majority adults with some paeds
- Existing referral base across multiple allied health disciplines
- Opportunity to develop skills in ongoing therapy, Assistive Technology and Functional Capacity Assessments as well as focused ongoing supervision to develop these skills
- Less experienced clinicians begin with lower complexity therapy before progressing into more advanced assessments
- Flexible caseloads based on experience and clinical interests where possible
- Full-time, part time and contract opportunities available
- Weekly 1:1 supervision with a Senior Occupational Therapist throughout your first year
- Structured progression to fortnightly supervision after 12 months
- Weekly meetings with a Clinical Manager for ongoing support
- Comprehensive staged onboarding with no billable expectations initially
- Gradual increase in caseload during onboarding before transitioning to full productivity
- Established multidisciplinary team including Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists and Dietitians
- Strong internal referral pathways and an extensive existing client database
- Balanced KPI expectations with billable targets aligned to salary level
- Opportunity to grow within an expanding Occupational Therapy department backed by an established business
- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy
- Current AHPRA registration
- Current Australian driver's licence
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Willingness to work across community settings
- New graduates through to experienced Occupational Therapists are encouraged to apply
- $80,000 to $120,000 + Super, based on experience
- Weekly Senior OT supervision during your first year if applicable
