Occupational Therapist | Brand New Clinic & Sensory Gym

Sunshine Coast, Queensland

Details

briefcase-regular-1   Work Type: Permanent

square-dollar-regular   Salary Range: $90,001 - $100,000

heart-circle-plus-regular   Whats on Offer:

Description

Our client is a reputable multidisciplinary allied health provider supporting NDIS participants and families across Queensland, with a strong focus on community-driven outcomes and practical, client-centred therapy.

The team has recently moved into a brand new two-storey clinic in Nambour, providing clinicians with significantly more space and dedicated therapy resources, including a sensory gym.

Why this Role:

This role would suit an OT looking for the resources of a brand new clinic while still having access to community-based practice and a broader multidisciplinary team.

You will have access to:

  • Brand new two-storey clinic with a dedicated sensory gym
  • Salaries from $85,000 to $115,000 + super
  • $2,500 Professional Development allowance
  • Laptop and mobile phone provided
  • Pool cars available for community visits
  • Flexible work locations and telehealth options where appropriate
  • Group mentoring and multidisciplinary clinical support
  • Leadership development and internal progression opportunities
  • Dedicated administration and Allied Health Assistant support
  • Established multidisciplinary support across OT, Speech Pathology, Psychology, Physiotherapy and AHAs
  • Strong referral demand across NDIS and community-based services
  • Group mentoring and clinical support
  • Leadership development and potential progression into mentoring or Team Leader responsibilities as services expand
  • Opportunities to develop alongside a growing allied health service
About the Role:

This is an Occupational Therapist position supporting a primarily paediatric caseload, with broader lifespan work available across the service.

Your week may include:
  • Clinic-based sessions from the new Nambour site
  • Access to a dedicated sensory gym and expanded therapy spaces
  • Supporting NDIS participants with neurodiverse, neurological and sensory needs
  • Home, school and community visits alongside clinic-based appointments
  • Telehealth where appropriate
  • Working alongside Speech Pathology, Psychology, Physiotherapy and AHA colleagues
  • Access to pool cars for community visits
  • Support from an Occupational Therapy Team Leader, multidisciplinary clinicians, AHAs and dedicated administration staff
About You:
  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Current right to work in Australia
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Driver’s licence suitable for community-based work
If you are looking for an OT position where the physical clinic environment genuinely adds to your practice, the new Nambour site is worth a conversation.

You will have access to a purpose-built sensory environment, a growing multidisciplinary team and a service model combining clinic and community therapy, with opportunities to develop into mentoring and leadership as the allied health division grows.

What this looks like in practice:
  • A dedicated consultant who works with you on your career, not just this role
  • Honest market insight on salary, growth and where the sector is moving
  • Discreet, professional handling at every stage
  • We do not share your details without permission
  • Ongoing support post-placement, because the right fit matters longer than the offer date
