Whats on Offer:
Description
Our client is an established multidisciplinary disability and allied health provider supporting NDIS participants across Queensland and New South Wales, with an expanding service footprint in Cairns.
The allied health team works across Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology and Physiotherapy, using a holistic model that gives clinicians scope to shape their caseload around client needs and clinical interests. OTs can work across paediatrics, mental health, home modifications and broader disability practice, with a mix of clinic and community-based therapy.
About the Role:
This is an Occupational Therapist role supporting NDIS participants across the lifespan, from paediatrics through to older adults.
Your caseload can be shaped around your experience and preferred areas of practice, with opportunities across:
- Paediatric Occupational Therapy
- Mental health
- Home modifications
- Generalist disability and NDIS work
- Clinic-based therapy
- In-home and community-based therapy
- Telehealth where appropriate
Fleet vehicles are available for community appointments.
Supervision is provided, with senior therapists supporting earlier-career clinicians. The team also has experience supporting new graduates and student placements, while experienced OTs may have opportunities to provide mentoring and supervision.
Why this Role:
- Choose a caseload mix that aligns with your clinical interests where possible
- Work across clinic and community settings rather than being locked into one delivery model
- Multidisciplinary support across OT, Speech Pathology and Physiotherapy
- Senior clinician supervision for earlier-career therapists
- Opportunity for experienced OTs to mentor and supervise others
- $2,000 annual professional development allowance, subject to confirmation
- 4 days of CPD leave per year, subject to confirmation
- Friday team learning including case studies, discipline catch-ups and clinical discussions
- Incentive program for billings above target
- Fleet vehicles available for community-based work
- Opportunity to join an established Queensland team or support the growing Cairns service
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
- Current AHPRA registration
- Current right to work in Australia
- Driver’s licence suitable for community-based work
- Comfortable delivering therapy across clinic and community settings
- Willing to work with an NDIS-funded caseload
- Salary from $90,000 to $120,000 + super + bonus
- $2,000 annual PD allowance, subject to confirmation
- 4 days of CPD leave per year, subject to confirmation
- Fleet vehicles available for community appointments
- Supervision from senior therapists
- Friday team learning, case discussions and discipline catch-ups
- Incentive program for billings above the 25-hour weekly billable expectation
This is a strong option for an OT who wants more say in the type of caseload they build, while still having multidisciplinary support and structured clinical development around them.
Whether your interests sit in paediatrics, mental health, home modifications or broader NDIS practice, there is scope to shape the role around your strengths while working across clinic and community settings.
