Occupational Therapist | Company Car OR $9k Travel Allowance
Details
Work Type: Permanent
Salary Range: $90,001 - $100,000
Whats on Offer:
Description
Our client is an established mobile multidisciplinary allied health provider supporting clients across disability, aged care and private services throughout South East Queensland.
The service operates a fully community-based model, with clinicians working across defined geographic catchments rather than travelling across large territories. The South Brisbane team supports clients around Sunnybank and surrounding suburbs, with Occupational Therapists working alongside Physiotherapists, Speech Pathologists and other allied health clinicians.
Teams are intentionally kept to around 10 clinicians, with day-to-day support from a Team Manager and a separate clinical supervision structure. Caseloads are built gradually, with a strong focus on clinician support, sustainable growth and keeping travel within a practical local catchment.
About the Role:
This is a community-based Occupational Therapist position supporting a mixed lifespan caseload across the Sunnybank and South Brisbane area.
Your week may include:
- Supporting NDIS, aged care and private clients across the lifespan
- Delivering Occupational Therapy in homes, schools, childcare centres, aged care facilities and community settings
- Working within a defined South Brisbane catchment designed to reduce unnecessary travel
- Building your caseload gradually as you settle into the team
- Working alongside a multidisciplinary team across OT, Physiotherapy, Speech Pathology and other allied health disciplines
- Accessing support with referrals and initial bookings through a dedicated Client Services team
- Developing greater autonomy over your diary as you become established
- Regular clinical supervision and access to support throughout the week
Why this Role:
This role would suit an OT who enjoys community practice but still wants strong clinical connection, structured support and clear progression opportunities.
You will have access to:
- Salaries from $85,000 to $115,000 + super, based on experience
- Choice of a company car with fuel card or a $9,000 vehicle allowance
- $2,000 annual professional development budget
- 3 paid professional development leave days each year
- An additional day of annual leave for your birthday
- Weekly supervision for clinicians in approximately their first 1 to 3 years of practice
- Multidisciplinary support within a team of around 10 clinicians
- A bonus structure linked to billable performance!
- Gradual caseload ramp-up rather than an expectation to fill your diary immediately
- Opportunities to shape your caseload toward specific clinical interests as you develop
- Future pathways into supervision, clinical specialisation and leadership
- Defined geographic catchments with transparency around travel expectations
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
- Current AHPRA registration
- Current driver’s licence
- Willingness to deliver Occupational Therapy in home and community settings
- Willingness to work across a mixed lifespan caseload including disability and aged care clients
- Current working rights in Australia
- Earn from $85,000 to $115,000 + super, tailored to experience
- Choice of company car with fuel card or $9,000 vehicle allowance
- $2,000 professional development budget each year
- 3 paid professional development leave days per year
- Additional day of annual leave on your birthday
- Weekly clinical supervision for clinicians in the early stages of their career
- Performance-linked bonus structure
- Defined local travel catchment
- Support with referrals and initial appointment bookings
If you want the autonomy of community Occupational Therapy without feeling isolated from your clinical team, this role is worth a conversation.
You will join a multidisciplinary provider that has deliberately focused on sustainable caseload growth, accessible supervision and keeping clinicians connected to their local teams. There is also scope to develop a clinical niche or move toward supervision and leadership as your career progresses.
