Occupational Therapist | Mixed Caseload | Clinic & Community

Eagleby, Queensland

Details

briefcase-regular-1   Work Type: Permanent

square-dollar-regular   Salary Range: $90,001 - $100,000

heart-circle-plus-regular   Whats on Offer: Occupational Therapist role in Eagleby with NDIS caseload, clinic/community work, supervision, PD and flexibility to shape your interests.

Description

Are you an Occupational Therapist looking for a role that offers variety, flexibility, strong supervision and the ability to shape your caseload around your clinical interests?

You will be joining a growing allied health provider in Eagleby, supporting NDIS participants across a mix of clinic-based, home, community and telehealth settings.

This opportunity is a great fit for an OT who enjoys working across disability, paediatrics, adults, functional assessments, assistive technology, home modifications and capacity building supports, while being part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

Whether you are an early-career Occupational Therapist, experienced OT or Senior Occupational Therapist, this role can be tailored where possible to suit your strengths, interests and career goals.

Why You’ll LOVE this Role:

  • Salary ranging from $90,000 - $115,000 super
  • Work from a clinic location in Eagleby, supporting clients across the local community
  • Mixed NDIS Occupational Therapy caseload across paediatrics, adults and older clients
  • Opportunity to tailor your caseload toward your clinical interests
  • Work across clinic, home, community and telehealth settings
  • Join a multidisciplinary team of Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists and Physiotherapists
  • Fleet vehicles available for community visits
  • $2,000 annual professional development allowance
  • 4 days CPD leave per year
  • Regular supervision from senior clinicians
  • Strong team culture with collaboration, case discussions and discipline catch-ups
  • Great fit for early-career, experienced or senior OTs
  • Senior OTs may have the opportunity to mentor and support junior clinicians
  • Friday team connection time, including team meetings, case discussions and market updates
  • Incentive program available for clinicians exceeding billable expectations

Your Role:
As an Occupational Therapist, you will support a varied caseload across clinic and community settings, working with NDIS participants to build independence, improve function and support meaningful participation in daily life.

Your caseload can be shaped around your preferred clinical areas, with scope to work across:
  • Paediatrics
  • Adult disability
  • Mental health
  • Functional Capacity Assessments
  • Assistive Technology
  • Home modifications
  • Daily living skill development
  • Sensory and emotional regulation
  • Community participation
  • Capacity building supports
  • NDIS reports, therapy planning and goal-based intervention
This is not a role where you are locked into one narrow caseload. You will have the opportunity to develop a niche, broaden your clinical skills or maintain a mixed caseload depending on what suits you best.

Support & Development:
You will have access to regular supervision, senior clinician support and ongoing team learning. Earlier-career Occupational Therapists will be supported to build confidence gradually, while more experienced OTs can step into mentoring, supervision or leadership-style responsibilities where appropriate.

The team also comes together on Fridays for connection, case discussions, team meetings, market updates and discipline-specific catch-ups. This is a great setup for someone who enjoys autonomy but still wants to feel connected to a broader clinical team.

There is also an incentive program for clinicians who exceed targets, with additional bonuses available when billable expectations are exceeded.

About You:
You will be a qualified Occupational Therapist who is passionate about supporting NDIS participants and working across a varied caseload.

You may be interested in paediatrics, adult disability, mental health, functional capacity assessments, assistive technology, home modifications or broader community-based Occupational Therapy.

Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • Full AHPRA registration
  • Unrestricted working rights in Australia
  • Driver’s licence
  • Comfortable working across clinic and community settings
  • NDIS experience highly regarded, but not essential
