Salary Range: $90,001 - $100,000
Whats on Offer:
Description
A unique opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist who is passionate about supporting adults, mental health, neurodiversity and whole-family care.
Our client is a growing allied health provider with multiple clinics across Brisbane’s northside, including a clinic near Chermside and two other northside locations. This particlar clinic has been built with a clear purpose: to offer adult therapy services alongside paediatric allied health, making it easier for parents, carers and older clients to access support in one trusted place.
This role would suit an OT who enjoys working with adults, has an interest or background in mental health, and wants to be part of a genuinely supportive, neuro-affirming and parent-centred practice.
Full-time and part-time options available.
Why You’ll LOVE this Role:
- Salary from $90,000 - $110,000 super, based on experience
- Adult-focused Occupational Therapy role with scope to support mental health presentations
- Work from a modern clinic near Chermside
- Join a growing allied health provider with two other northside clinics
- Be part of a clinic designed to support both children and adults
- Opportunity to help shape adult OT services as the clinic continues to scale
- Neuro-affirming, family-centred model of care
- Clinic-based role, with community visits available by clinician choice
- 9-day fortnight for full-time staff
- 1 day WFH per week for full-time clinicians
- Protected admin time
- Daily team lunches
- $2,500 annual professional development allowance
- Fortnightly in-services rotating between therapists
- Structured onboarding and upfront training on systems and workflows
- Clear progression into senior or team lead opportunities as the clinic grows
- Collaborative multidisciplinary team across OT, Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy, Counselling and other allied health disciplines
- Termly team events, regular Friday catch-ups and a warm, stable team culture
- Mental health and psychosocial disability
- Functional capacity and everyday living skills
- Emotional regulation and routines
- Executive functioning
- Sensory needs
- Community participation
- Daily living independence
- NDIS goals and reporting
- Parent and carer wellbeing
- Older adolescent or young adult transition support
You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to a broader family-centred model, where parents can access their own allied health support while their child is also receiving therapy.
Support & Career Progression: This is a strong option if you want to grow, but do not want to be thrown into the deep end.
You will receive structured onboarding, support with systems and workflows, fortnightly in-services, and intentional caseload management.
As the clinic continues to grow, there is clear room to step into more senior responsibilities, contribute to service development, or move towards a team lead pathway.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
- Full AHPRA registration
- Interest or experience in adult mental health, psychosocial disability or adult OT
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Driver’s licence and access to a vehicle
- A genuine interest in neuro-affirming, client-centred therapy
