Occupational Therapist | Paediatrics | $2500 PD

Aspley, New South Wales

Details

briefcase-regular-1   Work Type: Permanent

square-dollar-regular   Salary Range: $90,001 - $100,000

heart-circle-plus-regular   Whats on Offer:

Description

A fantastic opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to join a growing, neuro-affirming paediatric allied health provider on Brisbane’s northside.

This role is based in Aspley with access to multiple northside clinic locations. Our client offers a strong clinic-based model, with community visits available by clinician choice.

This is a great fit for an Occupational Therapist (OT) who enjoys building strong relationships with families, working in a collaborative MDT, and wants a role with proper admin time, flexibility and clear progression.

Why You’ll LOVE this Role:

  • Salary from $85,000 - $110,000 super
  • Work with a neuro-affirming, parent-centred provider
  • Clinic-based role with community visits available by clinician choice
  • Multiple northside clinic locations
  • 9-day fortnight for full-time staff: 76 hours across 9 working days
  • 1 day WFH per week for full-time clinicians
  • Protected admin time: clinic closes from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm for notes, admin and team lunch
  • $2,500 annual PD allowance
  • Fortnightly in-services rotating between therapists
  • Structured onboarding and upfront training on systems and workflows
  • Intentional caseload management for newer clinicians
  • Clear room to progress into senior or team lead roles, especially as the team continues to grow
  • Collaborative MDT with OT, Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy and Counselling services across sites
  • Termly team events and regular Friday team catch-ups
  • Low turnover and a genuinely stable team culture
The Role:

You will support a paediatric caseload in a clinic-based setting, working closely with children, families and other clinicians to deliver practical, individualised therapy.
The service has a strong focus on parent relationships, education and creating genuine allied health hubs for families across Brisbane’s northside.
Clients may be supported across:
  • Clinic settings
  • Home or community settings, where suitable and by clinician choice
  • Parent coaching and education
  • Functional skill development
  • Sensory processing
  • Emotional regulation
  • Fine and gross motor development
  • Daily routines and participation goals
Support & Career Progression:

This is a team with strong systems and a thoughtful approach to clinician wellbeing.
Clinicians receive structured onboarding, upfront training on workflows and systems, and regular in-services to support clinical development. Caseloads are managed intentionally, particularly for newer clinicians, to make sure the role stays sustainable.
There is also clear room to grow. As the Aspley clinic scales and more services come online, there is genuine scope for the right OT to move into senior or team lead responsibilities.

Team Vibe:

Our client has built a stable, collaborative team with low turnover and a strong focus on supporting both clinicians and families.
The culture is warm, practical and family-centred. The team comes together for termly events, regular Friday catch-ups and ongoing MDT collaboration across sites.

Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • Full AHPRA registration
  • Previous paediatric OT experience preferred
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Driver’s licence and access to a car
  • Strong interest in neuro-affirming, family-centred practice
