Occupational Therapist | Paediatrics | Hybrid

Gold Coast, Queensland

Details

briefcase-regular-1   Work Type: Permanent

square-dollar-regular   Salary Range: $90,001 - $100,000

heart-circle-plus-regular   Whats on Offer:

Description

Our client is a privately owned paediatric allied health provider on the Gold Coast, supporting children and families through a child-centred, family-centred and strengths-based model.

The team includes Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists and Allied Health Assistants, with a strong paediatric focus and an established community caseload already in place. You will be joining a growing multidisciplinary team of 11 clinicians, with administration support and practical clinical resources behind you.

About the Role:

This is a community-based paediatric Occupational Therapist role supporting children across the Gold Coast.

Your caseload will include:

  • Children aged approximately 3 to 15 years
  • Neurodivergent children and children with diverse developmental needs
  • Presentations including ADD, ADHD and global developmental delay
  • Therapy delivered across homes, schools, kindy and community settings
  • A strong existing caseload, not a role that needs to be built from scratch
  • Support from an established OT, Speech Pathology and AHA team
The service also has a clinic base on the Gold Coast, with a larger two-storey clinic currently being developed nearby. The new site is expected to include larger therapy rooms, a sensory gym, upstairs playroom, kitchen and expanded paediatric therapy spaces.

Why this Role:

This role would suit an OT who enjoys paediatric community work, wants an established caseload and values having a team around them.

You will have access to:
  • Established paediatric community caseload across the Gold Coast
  • Child-centred, family-centred and strengths-based therapy model
  • Multidisciplinary team of OTs, Speech Pathologists and AHAs
  • Full administration support for bookings, billing, service agreements and customer service
  • Fleet car access for mobile clinicians, rather than relying on your own car
  • PD budget of $1,500, with flexibility to discuss relevant development areas
  • Laptop, iPad, resources and uniforms provided
  • Access to a growing paediatric clinic environment with expanded therapy spaces coming
  • Balanced scheduling expectations, with management and admin supporting diary fill
About You:
  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Experience or strong interest in paediatric Occupational Therapy
  • Comfortable working across home, school, kindy and community settings
  • Current driver’s licence
  • Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one
Salary & Benefits:
  • $80,000 to $110,000 super
  • $1,500 PD budget, with flexibility around relevant areas of interest
  • Private health insurance provided to all staff
  • Fleet car access for community-based work
  • Laptop and iPad provided
  • Uniforms and clinical resources provided
  • Full administration support for bookings, billing and service agreements
  • 9-day fortnight available
  • Support from an established multidisciplinary paediatric team
What’s on Offer:

If you are looking for a paediatric OT role with an established community caseload, strong administration support and a genuinely child-centred model, this is definitely worth a conversation.

You will be joining a growing Gold Coast team with multidisciplinary support, practical resources and further clinic expansion underway.

About E4 People:

E4 People has been a specialist healthcare recruitment partner since 2012. Over the past decade, we have built deep relationships across allied health, aged care and hospital settings throughout Australia.

When you work with us, you get more than a single job opening. You get a recruiter who understands the sector, knows the leadership teams, and can talk honestly about culture, career pathways and where your skills will be valued.

What this looks like in practice:
  • A dedicated consultant who works with you on your career, not just this role
  • Honest market insight on salary, growth and where the sector is moving
  • Discreet, professional handling at every stage
  • We do not share your details without permission
  • Ongoing support post-placement, because the right fit matters longer than the offer date
If this sounds like the right environment for the next stage of your clinical career, we would love to hear from you.

To discuss further, contact Jordan for a confidential conversation.
