The Role

As Operations Manager, you'll have overall responsibility for the successful operation of both the Residential Aged Care home and Retirement Village, ensuring exceptional outcomes for residents while leading a positive, engaged and high-performing workforce.
You'll work closely with regional leadership to drive operational excellence, financial performance, quality outcomes and employee engagement while fostering a culture centred on compassion, accountability and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing strategic operational leadership across Residential Aged Care and Retirement Living
  • Leading, mentoring and developing multidisciplinary leadership teams
  • Driving occupancy, resident satisfaction and overall service performance
  • Managing budgets, financial performance and operational outcomes
  • Ensuring compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and relevant legislation
  • Building strong relationships with residents, families, employees and the local community
  • Championing continuous improvement initiatives and creating a positive workplace culture
About You

You're an experienced operational leader who enjoys developing people, building strong teams and creating exceptional resident experiences.
You'll bring a balance of commercial acumen and compassionate leadership, with the ability to confidently oversee a complex service while maintaining a resident-first approach.
To be successful, you'll have:
  • Previous leadership experience within residential aged care, retirement living or another complex service environment
  • Strong operational, financial and people leadership capability
  • Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
  • A sound understanding of quality, compliance and continuous improvement
  • A passion for delivering exceptional outcomes for residents, families and employees
